rental cabin is
nestled in the North Carolina Smoky
Mountains with a bold rushing
creek that runs through the property. This
is where it got it's name "Cabin on a
Creek".
Located at an elevation of
3,000 feet you will find the cabin secluded, quiet
and cool.
No matter if your looking for a place to
spend a week or two or just to get away from
it all for a few days this North Carolina
mountain cabin is the place to be.
Our rental cabin is centrally located to all
of the wonderful North Carolina Smokey
Mountain attractions and activities.
Just 15 minutes from Bryson City, NC home of
the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and
the Smoky Mountain National Parks Deep
Creek, a mile of the best whitewater
tubing in the Smokies.
Drive another 20 minutes and you can find
yourself in the Nantahala Gorge, home to the
best white water rafting in Western North
Carolina.
Drive a little further away from the cabin and you will find
yourself at Lake Fontana. The highest dam
east of the Rockies is located just 35 miles
West of Bryson City, North Carolina.
Towering 480 feet in height this dam backs
water for 30 miles.
With 11,685 acres of water surface Fontana
provides great recreational water activities
such as boating, knee-boarding, water-skiing
and some of the best Pike and Bass Fishing
anywhere.
Leave the cabin drive the other way for 10
minutes and you find yourself in Cherokee,
NC “Land of the Blue Smoke”, or Smoky
Mountains as we know them today.
The main North
Carolina entrance into the Smoky National
Park is on US 441 just north of Cherokee as
well as start of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
If you want a change of pace you will also
find Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. With 3,000 of
your favorite video games, including Live
Digital Blackjack, where real dealers
combine with video displays and digital
cards to deliver real blackjack action.
Drive a little further on HWY 19 and you are
in beautiful Maggie Valley. Go hiking or
horseback riding in the summer and ski on
Cataloochee ski area in the winter.
Better yet,
stay at the cabin, sit
on the deck by the creek and listen to the
soothing sound
of the water rushing down the creek.
It is the perfect place to put
your daily worries to rest and let yourself go.

spent my 50th birthday at this
cabin and
it was perfect. We went hiking
in Deep Creek, played in the Nantahala river, got caught in a
snow storm in the park, ate
lobster on the deck and relaxed
in the hot tub. I love this
place and will be back. Thank

Had
a blast. Tubing in Deep Creek
was great and cold. Listened to
some really good music in Bryson
on Saturday night and just
enjoyed the time we had here.
Will be telling my friends about

Spent almost 2 weeks and hated
to leave. We enjoyed it so much
we are looking for our own
place. The cabin was perfect,
the weather was great and the
people so friendly. If you ride
this is the place to stay. Not
far from the National Park,
Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the
